Clubs Unite for the Visit of District VIP

At lunchtime on 13th August, Aireborough Rotary club hosted a gathering including members from the Headingley club who joined them in welcoming District Governor Manoj Joshi and his Rotarian wife Bhavna. After a light meal the DG addressed those present with an inspirational talk about raising the numbers of Rotarians and raising awareness of Rotary. He then kindly gave Rotary shawls, in vivid blue sporting the Rotary Wheel and his name and message, to the two Presidents, Mrs Janet Appleton, Mr Alan Wittrick and also to Andrew Wilson, Youth Service Chair. He suggested they could be a talking point, raising the profile of Rotary.
