We always have a good turn-out for the annual Daffodil Appeal Collection in support of Marie Curie in Sainsbury’s store in the Arndale Centre, Headingley, on 7 April. It is not unusual for members of the public to share news of recent family bereavements and it is touching to hear words of appreciation of the nursing they have received. This year we were delighted to have among our ten collectors one of our new members and his wife who helped to raise £395.64
