Our annual Christmas lunch raised a total of £527.50 to help provide blankets for Syrian refugees. A BIG thank you to members and their guests who attended the lunch, and to those who made additional personal donations to the appeal. In addition to this, we took the opportunity to donate £200 to St Peter’s Primary School to help with their ‘Bug Club’ reading scheme, and £150 to Leeds Youth Opera both of whom came to came to entertain us as part of our festivities.
