Christmas Collection Raises Over £2000 for Local Charities

The Saturday before Christmas at Moortown Sainsbury’s and there is magic in the air. Carols make the welkin ring and excited children whisper in Santa’s ear what they want for Christmas. It is a wonderful occasion and once again the generous shoppers filled our buckets. The £2010.33 collected will be shared between five local charities: Wheatfields and St Gemma’s hospices, Caring for Life, St George’s Crypt and Leeds Foodbank North & West. Thanks to all the Santas and collectors from Headingley Rotary Club who made it happen.
