A Merry Performance

DSC02812 (Copy)Pupils from St Peters Primary school gave a jubilant and high level concert at our Christmas lunch. They sang a number of new carols (2015) as well as ancient (even in Latin). The Choir was excellently trained by Year six teacher John Robertson and accompanied by Dr Simon Lindley (who will be retiring from Leeds Minster in the new year).

The School have a large number of pupils whose native language is not English. The choir had no difficulties and shone with well deserved confidence and ability.
They witnessed the head teacher Liz Holiday, being presented with a well earned Paul Harris fellowship for her work with the community. The choir was warmly thanked by the President and club members
